If you have never been to the UK before we would also recommend a day
or two outside of London to give you a better feel for the UK. It is a
country of much diversity depending on where you are. Just as seeing
New York City does not really give you a true feel for America, London
does not give you that true feel of the UK. Most Americans who have
lived here love it, so you owe it to yourself to see a little. Before
we look further into London attractions, let's view some of your
options for a great day out of London.
If you want to cover as much ground as possible in the minimum amount
of time, the day tours are the way to go. The added benefit you get
with the tour is a knowledgeable tour guide to fill you in on all the
history associated with your destinations. The tours take care of your
entrance to attractions and leave the lines (or queues as they are
known here) behind.
